Staircase Signage Design for Event Activation
I developed a full suite of staircase graphics for an event space, guiding attendees through an immersive environment with clear wayfinding and impactful visuals. This project includes everything from initial drafts in Illustrator to installed signage in the real-world environment.
My Role & Design Process
Early Mockups in Illustrator
Created concept versions that explored how typography and shapes would appear when applied to rising and falling stair risers. Paid close attention to scale, legibility, and rhythm as viewers moved up and down.
Refinement & Client Feedback
Iterated on designs based on feedback and physical stair dimensions. Final designs emphasized color contrast and hierarchy to maintain readability at various viewing angles.
Production-Ready Artwork
Handled print layout, file prep, and vendor requirements—ensuring vector-based, high-resolution output with correct bleeds, safe zones, and color management.
On-Site Implementation
Oversaw installation to ensure proper alignment, visual balance, and real-world readability in the event space.
